Thompson Rivers University - Strength & Conditioning
We are traveling to the beautiful Kamloops, BC for the first time to present our Running Mechanics Professional certification courses in person at Thompson Rivers University and their Strength & Conditioning Department. We are offering both the Level 1 Foundations course and the Level 2 MED course for the weekend. The intent is to provide professionals in sport training, fitness, personal training and rehabilitation with an exceptional hands-on educational experience with practical strategies for improving running performance, overall movement skill, durability and recovery.
This event will offer two courses with an emphasis on practical demonstration and attendee participation, with some fabulous training facilities available at Thompson Rivers University for our activities. We want to make sure you leave the weekend with new found skills and knowledge that you can implement with confidence on Monday. We also now provide you with an opportunity to purchase the virtual course at a significantly reduced price so that you can refer to all of this material in detail, at your own pace, indefinitely. This learning opportunity is unprecedented and you won’t find these types of courses anywhere else in the world.
Regular pricing for these in-person events has typically been $599 US for a single-day course and $899 US for a two-day course, but we want to make sure people are encouraged to return to in-person learning and engagement, particularly during challenging economic times, offering discounts that are affordable for all professionals. Early registration coupons are available as well as group rates and other opportunities to save. Please contact Derek M. Hansen at derek@runningmechanics.com for available offers.
Also be sure to contact us if you are traveling to the Kamloops region and need some information on convenient accommodations, meals and transportation for the event. Our hosts will be happy to provide you with the best possible recommendations.

We will keep you updated on available credits as they are approved. It is important to note that we provide full documentation of contact hours and individual course outlines – as well as provide a certificate of participation – for course participants so that they can submit the courses for CEU approval.
